When God lays something on a church’s heart, it’s exciting to see what He will do when we follow His leading. Desert Springs Community Church in Goodyear is walking in that right now.  Through the leading of the Holy Spirit, they have watched God work in amazing ways to plant two churches in the last 7 years. One of those churches is Mission Church.

God gave Kyle Powell a heart for church planting, but the story of Mission church wasn’t anything like what he was expecting. God’s provision not only launched a church, but joined congregations together to do ministry through a merge.

The realization that most communities wouldn’t be much different if a church went away was a defining part of how Mission church works to fulfill its purpose in the community.
