Pastor Quietly Returns to Pulpit after Military Deployment

Pastor Quietly Returns to Pulpit after Military Deployment
By Greg Klein  Staff Writer, The Daily Star

It is a big deal for a church to send its pastor off on deployment.  It is less common to hear about their return.

“Chaplain (Maj.) Timothy Miller of the New York Army National Guard, who is also the senior pastor at the Light Walkers Baptist Church at 193 county Route 49 in Morris, New York had been serving in the Army on deployments to Kuwait and Jordan. He left for deployment in late January 2020 and returned in late November…”

The local newspaper, The Daily Star of Oneonta, New York, ran a good article on Pastor Tim’s return to the pulpit.

Pray for Pastor/Chaplain Miller as he balances the needs of his church with his equally important ministry in the New York Army National Guard.
