In case you missed this encouragement from Venture Church Network President, Dave Whitaker, we wanted to highlight this timely message again. 

We’re praying that you are encouraged as you take some time to remember what the Apostle Paul was reminding his protege Timothy. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7.  When we first introduced this video, we were still in the depths of Covid and the challenges and fears that came with it. We now sit with the pandemic behind us, and yet the church is faced with a new challenge that may be bigger. The challenge is how our faith impacts a divided culture and the difficulties churches have in equipping their congregations to bring the gospel into their communities.  Yet again, God says that He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind.  We need all three to stand firm in what we face today.  Be encouraged as Dave looks at not just 2 Timothy, but also into Joshua’s challenges as he headed into the promised land and God’s encouragement to him.
