Ministry isn’t easy; it really never has been, but these last few years have proven to be even more trying. It really takes a lot of tenacity, perseverance, and faithfulness to stay in it for the long haul.

The first part of the verse from 2 Chronicles 16:9 says, ” For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him…”  It’s encouraging to know that when our hearts are fully committed to Jesus, He gives us the Grit not to Quit.  His strength, not our own. We need His strength to continue to be faithful, to persevere, and He is ready and willing to give it.

Be encouraged today, wherever you are in your ministry, that a heart fully committed to Jesus will yield His strength to continue to plod for Him.
