A recent Barna study (2023) found that nearly one in four pastors hope to retire by 2030. For many, that transition opens the door to new questions about calling, purpose, and how their experience might continue to serve the Church.

One path some pastors are beginning to explore is interim ministry. Coming alongside churches during seasons of transition to provide steady leadership, wisdom, and care.

Our Venture Church Network partner, Interim Pastor Ministries (IPM), offers a helpful starting point for pastors who are curious about this calling through their one-day Zoom session, “Is Interim Ministry for You?”

This $99 session is designed to help pastors:

• Understand the role and impact of interim ministry
• Discern whether interim pastoring may be a good next step
• Ask thoughtful questions about timing, preparation, and fit
