The First Baptist Church of Sidney is seeking a vocational elder/pastor in accordance
with Ephesians 4:11-16 whose main responsibility will be to faithfully teach God’s Word. The candidate should be willing to work within a council of elders and to have a passion and a heart’s desire to preach and to teach a local congregation of approximately one hundred members and friends of the church.

We are a Bible believing, Conservative Baptist Church, led by a plurality of Elders who hold to the Doctrines of Grace. We are located halfway between Binghamton and Oneonta, New York. This is a full-time, salaried position. Candidates must have a degree in Biblical studies or an equivalent degree.
